Natassa Mousadi

Blending traditions, genres, and sounds from around the world, Natassa Mousadi — a vocalist, musician, and composer based in Athens — creates music full of contrasts. Her work explores the meeting points of seemingly opposing elements — fusing the experimental with the traditional, the personal with the collective. With a deep focus on new artistic creation, she uses music as a space for dialogue, reflection, and expression. Her debut album Mediterranèe — a collection of six originals — is set to premiere this year. Mediterranèe is a concept album, which delicately interplays between Mediterranean idioms, personal memories and contemporary reflections. A poetic dialogue with the present reality of the Mediterranean region, which gazes toward hope and uncovers beauty even in life’s most difficult and enigmatic moments. At its core lies a quiet but unshakable belief in the human spirit — in people’s innate power to create, transform and grow, no matter the circumstances. Natassa is a founding member of eu[φων]ia, a collective that explores the intersection of voice and body through research, education, and performance. She is also part of SPIZES — a performance vocal trio +1 — and has formed her own quintet with which she performs her music all around. She composes music for theater.
