NeoQuartet

NEOQUARTET is a Polish string quartet specializing in contemporary music and interdisciplinary artistic projects. Recognized as one of the most dynamic and innovative contemporary music ensembles in Europe, the group is known for energetic performances, artistic freedom, and constant exploration of new forms of expression. The ensemble combines acoustic and electric string instruments with electronics, synthesizers, and loopers, creating unique concert experiences that go beyond traditional classical music formats. Since 2017, NeoQuartet has expanded its artistic language through the use of electric MIDI instruments and live electronics, developing a distinctive sound world connecting contemporary classical, experimental, and electronic music. NeoQuartet collaborates with composers, visual artists, and performers from various disciplines, continuously pushing creative boundaries and building strong connections with audiences worldwide. The quartet is a laureate of the prestigious Pomeranian Artistic Award and has also been nominated for major Polish cultural prizes including Fryderyki and Sztorm Roku. NeoQuartet has recorded 21 albums released by Polish, German, Greek, and American labels, including numerous world premiere recordings. From 2012 to 2025, NeoQuartet performed over 500 concerts across Europe, Asia, and the USA, appearing in venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing.
