Nina Feldgrill

Nina Feldgrill is an electric bassist and composer from Vienna, Austria. She studied for a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Bass at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Jam Music Lab University, where she has been awarded a full scholarship. As a bandleader, she is active in the modern jazz quartet river, the jazz-pop formation Wind’s Whispers, and the experimental duo Unterköfler/Feldgrill. In 2024, river released the album Chameleon Circuit on the Canadian-New Zealand jazz label SkyDeck Music, which brought the ensemble international recognition. Following the release of her latest album Nina Feldgrill (Quinton Records, 2025), she has been featured as an emerging voice in European jazz by media outlets such as SWR Kultur (GER), BRF1 (BEL), Blue in Green Radio (UK), Concerto Magazine (AT), and many others.
