Nina G

Nina G is a 22 year-old American singer-songwriter, journalist, playlist curator and overall creative. With her influences including Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone, Nina describes her sound as Contemporary R&B-Soul because of how she fuses alternative R&B, pop, acoustic soul, and jazz together. Her debut EP, 'My Soul Room (EP, Pt. 1) is an explorative project where Nina plays around with different sounds. She has many singles, and has had the opportunity of working with artists such as Nee J and Reeceyboi. In recent years she has begun paying homage to her Hispanic heritage through utilizing Spanglish, and by releasing her fully Spanish-language songs, Soy Yo, Quédate, and Las Mentiras. Her latest EP, 'What About Love' is a four-song tracklist that predominantly uses R&B, Soul and Pop sounds to talk about how she imagines love to be, and how it ended up with her going on a self-love journey. In her music, Nina often speaks about self-confidence, self-love, loneliness, heart-ache and the importance of chasing dreams.
