Underground σχήμα southern gothic
Freshly released - the FIRST FULL-LENGHT ALBUM - Liquid Salvation - made in The Barn Studio. It all started one evening on a hill above Dalej valley. The wind was not blowing hard and howled even through closed window. Two bearded and rapidly aged guys did not sit at their keyboards to empty some Colts into cowboys in cursed Louisiana, but this time, they joined the howling wind with their own noises from a guitar and a banjo. Hard to tell where was the closest wetland, but it was the first sounds of Noises from the Swamp. Those two guys enjoyed the sound quite a bit, so they took other two – this time less lucky ones, as they grew only thin fuzz at most instead of mustaches. But with beards or without, it all began to settle. All of them had some experience with performing on stage, someone with metal or folk rock, other with some mad avant-garde punk. But this time the inspiration for sound they hunted, was searched for in works of chaps like Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Neil Young or bands Me and That Man, The Dead South or Blackwater Fever.
Noises From the Swamp plays dark country and southern gothic music, blending moody americana, banjo riffs, and raspy vocals recorded at The Barn Studio.
