Καλοδουλεμένος, underground καλλιτέχνης classical crossover
Norbert Daniš is one of the most outstanding pianists in Central Europe. Born in Slovakia, his work combines technical brilliance, emotional depth, and spiritual resonance. He was the first Slovak pianist to be accepted into the prestigious Petrof Art Family. “He is the only one who can make our pianos sing,” said the president of Petrof. He began playing the piano at the age of four and studied in the USA as well as at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava under Professor Marián Lapšanský, who described him as “one of the most talented pianists of his generation.” He has released original albums and recordings of global piano literature, and is the author of the popular piano method FUNtastický klavír. As a teacher, he works with both children and adults, developing his own creative and sensitive teaching method. He has performed across Europe and the USA, collaborating with artists such as Lang Lang. His concert projects – Piano Stories, Einaudi/Daniš, and Blessed – are known for their powerful emotional and spiritual impact. He also regularly performs charity concerts in hospices, care homes, and shelters for those in need. The music of Norbert Daniš transcends genre boundaries. At its core lie peace, beauty, and truth – touching the soul where words fall short.
