Ömer Faruk Aykut

Ömer Faruk Aykut is an A/V artist, DJ, and clinical psychologist based in Rotterdam. While completing his Master’s degree in Brain & Cognition at Erasmus University Rotterdam, he explores how sound, emotion, and the mind intersect. Alongside his music, he facilitates acting workshops and psychodrama sessions, focusing on embodied expression and inner experience. Through projection mapping and visual installations, he creates multi-sensory environments where sound and image merge. His Brain Dance events in Amsterdam and Rotterdam bring these elements together into deep, body-mind journeys on the dance floor. From his first keyboard at age six to electronic music studies and live performances, his journey continues as an exploration of inner worlds through sound.
