Ottagone

Ottagone is the techno project of Dutch producer Steef Mensink, also known for his work under the alias Frits Wentink. Based in Amsterdam, Ottagone showcases Mensink’s darker, more driving approach to electronic music, characterized by raw and hypnotic techno, finely crafted for the dancefloor. The project is deeply connected to the esteemed Dutch label Will & Ink, where most of Ottagone’s releases have been showcased. Each record in the Ottagone.xx series explores a distinctive take on techno, featuring powerful groove structures, deep analog textures and precise, minimalist production. Through his meticulous approach, Mensink creates immersive soundscapes that captivate and inspire.
