Pat Kalla, singer and storyteller, is always ready to spread joy and optimism, whether with Super Mojo, the Voilaaa Sound System collective, or when performing for young audiences. A Franco-Cameroonian of mixed heritage, raised on a diet of gratin dauphinois and okra sauce, Pat Kalla has been touring the world as a troubadour for many years. He either dons his storyteller’s cap in cultural centres, schools and festivals for young audiences, or tours the world with “Voilaaa Sound System” or his band “Pat Kalla and the Super Mojo”. Pat Kalla has also released a number of albums and collaborated with bands and producers from all over the world. His latest album, recorded at home in Lyon, “De l’air dans les mots”, is a journey for young and old alike, featuring numerous guests, including Steve Waring, Djeuhdjoah, Ébéle – Rose Kalla, Amandine Roques and Roland Ramade…! A full life, rich in encounters, emotions, poetry and convictions.
