Patrik Jansson Band

Patrik Jansson, singer, guitar player, drummer, composer and producer, was born in the small town of Gävle in the middle of Sweden. He started playing drums at an early age and in he’s early twenties he moved to Stockholm to study music and pursue a career in the music business. As a drummer he played everything from jazz and blues with small combos and big bands to punk, hard rock and metal with touring acts like Maryslim, Laney's Legion and Hellsingland Underground. Late 2007 Patrik decided it was time for another challenge and with a vision of fronting a great blues-rock band he picked up the guitar formed Patrik Jansson Band. The wide range of the material is a clear statement that PJB don´t have any limitations for their music. Influences of classic Chicago and Texas blues like the music of B.B. King and Freddie King is fused with the more modern soul, blues and blues-rock of Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa.
