Hailing from the Isle of Skye, the legendary Scottish trailblazers have created a glorious mixture of self penned traditional melodies and dance-floor grooves that have been embraced worldwide. Drawing upon a myriad of world music and dance influences. They bring the sound of Scotland fresh-faced and breathless to new audiences around the world. Exciting times lie ahead with the addition of the superbly talented Shetlander Norman Wilmore ( Keys and Alto sax). Multi-instrumentalist Innes Watson ( Acoustic Guitar, Fiddle and vocals) and Stu Brown ( Drums and Electronics) joining the established members of Peter Morrison ( Pipes and Whistles), Innes Hutton (Bass), Tom Salter ( Guitar) and Ross Couper ( Fiddle). During the Peatbogs now 31yr career they have twice been voted Scots Live band of the year and 2016 they were presented with the Landmark Award by “Hands up for trad” for their contribution to Scottish traditional music. They have played and toured extensively around the globe in countries such as Australia, Canada, US, Singapore, Borneo, Namibia, Azerbaijan and all over Europe.
