Pierre-François Blanchard

Pierre-François Blanchard is a pianist whose singular art of improvisation, accompanying and counterpoint has been illustrated for over ten years. He has worked with great names in jazz and song such as Archie Shepp, Pierre Barouh, Marion Rampal, Raphaël Imbert, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Sandra Nkake, Celia Kameni, Hugh Coltman, Jî Dru, Zaza Fournier. Trained in classical music and then in jazz at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, his writing and his art of the keyboards have led him to collaborate on numerous creative projects, both musical and theatrical, as well as writing for the image. After an acclaimed album with Marion Rampal (Le Secret, 2019), #puzzled is his first album of original pieces.
