Precious Jewel is a songstress hailing from the sea bordered coast of South Florida. Currently based in Baltimore, she's amassing a loving, intentional and eager community behind her growth. She embodies her highest gratitude toward the Southern musical roots that fostered, challenged and birthed her unique sound. She intends to blend the generational traditions of Soul, R&B, Hiphop, Jazz & Gospel with newfound innovation inspired by the poetic irony within the fabric of life. She often ties these deeply sewn sonics of life with imagination-provoking visual accompaniments. Whether they're fun, comedic and whimsical, reality-stricken or dreamlike, she champions these visual concepts to draw in every sense to truly feel the music and stimulate the mind’s eye. She's shared her melodic gems up and down the East Coast with notable success in NYC, PHL, LA, ATL and with the recent release of her Debut EP, Pensive Poetics, her light has been able to shine abroad via London and Brazil. Her passionate performance style has earned her numerous features from Voices Radio UK, Nunar Mag, Howard University and an award-winning nod from the Recording Academy. She prides herself in giving a unique live experience often with her band of equally passionate musicians, The Ism, by her side. She’s been described as a calm amongst the storm, able to quiet audiences and bring them to an intimate attention toward melodies of intimacy, self reflection, reckoning and affirmation.
