Pridebowl

Pridebowl formed in Sweden in 1994 with Aaron Goulding (vocals), Henrik Nilsson (lead guitar), Stefan Glendell (rhythm guitar), Oskar Andersson (bass), and Martin Bodin (drums). Between 1994 and 1998, the band released several records on Bad Taste Records (Warner/Chappell), including Long Distance (EP), Drippings of the Past (LP), The Soft Song (EP), No Better, No Worse (split EP with Adhesive), and Where You Put Your Trust (LP). In 1997, Matthias Jagborn (R.I.P.) and Patrik Sundin joined on guitar, co-writing Yesterday’s End (LP). Pridebowl toured extensively around the world and made history as the first foreign punk band to play in China, before disbanding in 1998. Around 2002, Aaron revived Pridebowl with Corey, Wayne, Matt, and Todd to release the Tired EP. In 2023, the band was revived once again — this time with a new international lineup featuring Levi Dixon (USA), Andy Constantinou (United Kingdom), Heath Rowley (Australia), and Juan de Lange (South Africa). In June 2024, they performed at Red Bridge Festival in Quebec and released the single Hostage on People of Punk Rock Records. January 1st 2025, they followed up with their first live album, Picking Up the Pieces, Live at The Mill. Pridebowl’s new full-length studio album, Convergence, was released September 2025 — their first in over a decade, and a bold new chapter for a band that continues to evolve without forgetting its roots.
