Underground καλλιτέχνης art rock
Project Culture are a 4-piece art rock band who have spent the last few years gigging relentlessly, charming audiences with their unique blend of melodic guitar work and socially conscious lyrics. They are just as inspired by books, films, theatre and stand-up comedy as they are by indie rock, living up to their name by drawing from a wide range of pop culture to create something truly their own. The band have been praised by BBC Introducing for their “post-punk energy and the sense of urgency in the songwriting” and their ability to “address and transform clichés into original turns of phrase” in their lyrics, and performed at Alexandra Palace in 2023 as part of the venue's 150th birthday celebrations. A big release for Project Culture last year was their new single 'Polling Day' - which they released just in time for the General Election - and the band have another single 'Anyone Can Fall in Love' coming out on Valentine's Day. They plan on spending 2025 writing and releasing a lot of music, as well as continuing to play some more big shows, and write about themselves in the third person.
