Psyché is a project with an eclectic sound rooted in the vibrant Neapolitan music scene. The band was formed in 2018 by Marcello Giannini (Guru, Bassolino, Nu Genea live band), Andrea De Fazio ( Parbleu, The Funkin Machine, Fratelli Malibu, Nu Genea live band) and Paolo Petrella (Fratelli Malibu, Bassolino). They were joined in 2024 by Roberto Porzio (Parbleu, Fitness Forever, 24 Grana, The Funkin Machine). A unique combination of psychedelia, groove and improvisation, the music of Psyché goes back to the roots of our future; it evokes visions of a mythical past, blending centuries-old music traditions and mixing them with modern genres. Like a warm Mediterranean breeze, it travels across lands, seas and eras, distilling essential rhythms and cosmic pulsations. Released in 2023 via Four Flies Records, the debut album Psyché is a unique combination of psychedelia, groove, and improvisation. Now Psyché are back with "Sabir" and "Hurriya (We Must Resist)," the first two singles to land ahead of their second album, which is due for release in 2026.
