Rachel Kitchlew is a London-based contemporary harpist blending jazz, ambient, and experimental influences into her compositions. Her solo work uses looping and atmospheric effects to create rich, layered textures of rhythmic, ambient sound. Always open to collaboration, Rachel thrives on experimentation and has worked as a session musician with artists including Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Robohands, Vegyn, François Kevorkian, Matthew Halsall, Jasmine Myra, SHOLTO, and Matters Unknown. She’s performed at major venues and festivals such as Glastonbury, The Roundhouse, The Barbican, and The Jazz Café, with contributions spanning albums, live performances, and film soundtracks. Most recently, she recorded harp for the film Timestalker, composed by duo Toy Drum. Rachel has also played internationally, including appearances at Montreux and Montreal Jazz Festivals, and has just completed European tours with Robohands and SHOLTO
