From their South Side Chicago roots to LA dance floors, twin duo RaeCola fearlessly push boundaries. At 17, Rae and Cola moved to Los Angeles for fashion school, where their love for club culture led them to DJing. Blending jackin’ house, Chicago house, and bass house, they quit their jobs in 2017 and committed fully to music. In 2022, they debuted with ‘Double Dutch’ on Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage, followed by the high-energy Bezerk EP. Their momentum has grown, releasing ‘Match My Vibe’ with Australian collaborators Tom Budin, Oscar Jamo, and Kvision, and joining writing sessions at Aluna’s Noir Fever camp in 2024, creating ‘Nite Cap’ and ‘ACAPULCO!’ with Farrah Fawx and Uniiqu3. Their journey has taken them to iconic stages including Ultra Miami, Lollapalooza, Shambhala, Beyond Wonderland, Electric Forest, Dirtybird Campout, Rockefeller Center, EDC Las Vegas, and Burberry’s Rodeo Drive Pop Up. Musically, their sound is a modern evolution of Chicago roots. Inspired by DJ Slugo and DJ Godfather, their style fuses ghetto tech house, booty bass, and Chicago house– marked by dirty, emphatic basslines and undeniable groove. RaeCola remains committed to pushing their craft while staying grounded in roots and uplifting diversity in dance music, creating timeless music for unforgettable moments on and off the dance floor.
