Ralph Bishop

Ralph Bishop is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and pianist based in the UK. Becoming a band frontman at just 11, Ralph developed a reputation for his impressive guitar work and vocals. In 2022, he won the Hangover Hill Under 18s original music competition, leading to a pivotal performance with his band, Reddle, supporting The Now at a sold-out Poole Lighthouse. This performance was later released as "Live At The Lighthouse." A highly accomplished guitarist (and pianist), currently studying jazz guitar at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Ralph’s musical depth is clear. His debut single, The Man Without Words, was praised by BBC Introducing as "musically genius." Influenced by artists like David Bowie, The Beatles, and The Zombies, Ralph’s musical foundation is a rich mix of classic and modern, jazz and psychedelia, with songwriting inspired by the lyrical imagery and harmonies of Odessey and Oracle, a lifelong favourite. The Path, his debut album, started being made at 16, using a DIY setup and refined in the studio. It's a reflection of his journey from Dorset to the world stage, blending heartfelt lyrics and sophisticated musicianship into a sound that’s uniquely his own. Since this, Ralph has become a staple in London's open mic scene and has had regular gigs at Spiritual Bar in Camden and, notably, the influential venue, The Windmill. Constant gigging has led to praise from major industry figures, as he continues to make a name for himself.
