Operating as the primary alias of British producer Karl O'Connor, Regis emerged in the early 1990s as a defining force in industrial techno. Co-founding the influential Downwards imprint and participating in seminal projects like British Murder Boys and Sandwell District, his sound fuses cold electronic rhythms, raw drones, and post-punk sensibilities. His uncompromising aesthetic has left a permanent imprint on European club music.
