Rhona Macfarlane

Rhona Macfarlane is a Scottish singer-songwriter whose emotive voice and evocative storytelling have been described as “casting a gentle spell over her audience.” Whether through gentle guitar and intimate vocals or expansive, cinematic arrangements with soaring strings, Macfarlane creates a deeply immersive soundscape. Her debut album, As The Chaos Unfolds, captures the essence of a “coming of age” experience. Written during her mid-20s—a time of profound change—the album explores themes of love, identity, mental health, and navigating adulthood’s chaos. Co-produced with Matt Ingram at Watercolour Studios in the Scottish Highlands. The album has had widespread support from BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, and numerous BBC Scotland shows, alongside recognition from The Scotsman, Record Of The Day and Spotify playlists like “Scotify.”
