Rui Maia

Rui Maia is a Portuguese DJ, producer and musician whose work moves between disco, funk, electronic and indie-inflected club music. A founding member of X-Wife and the creative force behind Mirror People, his productions and DJ sets sit at the intersection of live instrumentation and electronic production, shaped by a long-standing connection to dancefloor culture. Across projects and collaborations, Maia’s focus remains on groove, texture and melody, drawing from classic and contemporary strains of dance music without being confined by genre.
