Originally from the suburbs of Boston, now based in Los Angeles, Samantha deLuca is a singer-songwriter with a deep love for storytelling through song craft and performance. As a writer, she draws inspiration from talented artists in the indie and alternative pop realm, in hopes to connect with listeners the way those styles do, with a bit of a theatrical spin. Samantha aims to combine detailed and personal songwriting with catchy melodies and meticulously trained vocal capabilities that emulate today’s pop vocal athletes. The result is music that is unique yet feels familiar. Samantha’s music touches on the hardships of relationships, growth, loneliness and longing as someone who deals with marginalization by society. Most importantly, Samantha thinks her music will spark connection due to its emotional nature. She hopes to reach a wide audience of people who, like the artist herself, struggle with self-love, as well as external love and acceptance. She explores and expresses the pain, grief, doubt, hope and gratitude the come along with universal life experiences. And through heartfelt and evocative vocal delivery, Samantha believes her melodies and lyrics will impact people looking to hear their emotional experiences reflected in the music they listen to, to remind them that they aren’t alone. Samantha deLuca’s debut EP “Reluctantly Staying Alive” was produced by Larry Shotter and released in November 2025.
Samantha deLuca plays The Mint in Los Angeles on Friday 2 October.
