Sara Melson

Blurring boundaries between indie folk, cosmic country, cottagecore, and Americana, Sara soothes and uplifts. Her songs have been featured on Grey's Anatomy, ads for Volvo and Chevy, on KCRW, KCSN, Apple Music, and iHeart Radio. Blending the ethereal intimacy of Cat Power and Mazzy Star with the pristine clarity of Carole King, she's been called "immersive melancholy" by PopMatters and "something special" by Variety. Sara has shared the stage with Ben Folds, Moby, Juliana Hatfield, Lissie, Khatumu, Silversun Pickups, Dawes, Neil Halstead, Mojave 3, The Dandy Warhols, Marc Broussard, Meels, Margaret Cho, Inara George, and the late great Jill Sobule. Her songs were among tracks included in the Arch Mission Foundation’s Lunar Library, which landed on the moon via Intuitive Machines in 2024. She is currently at work on a new indie-folk album, Elixir.
