Shakhtyor

Formed in Hamburg in 2009, Shakhtyor is an instrumental trio that fuses heavy doom and sludge metal with psychedelic jam passages and spacey synthesizer textures. Their music moves effortlessly between crushing wall-of-sound noise and hypnotic, expansive atmospheres. Across releases like their sophomore album Tunguska, the band treats genre boundaries as fluid material rather than strict limitations.
