Based in Berlin, Shanda is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of Techno collective ABYSS (HK) from Hong Kong. With her classical music background as a flutist, she has quickly established her place in the Hong Kong underground scene. Her biggest highlights in Asia were performing at Clockenflap 2023 festival and headlining major club nights in China, Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia. In pursuit of musical inspiration and further development of her artistic career, Shanda relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2023. She quickly gained recognition in esteemed Berlin clubs, including Tresor, RSO, Else, Club Ost, Renate, and more. With a solid foundation in music production, she’s now carving her path as a producer with new tracks set to release. Her sound is versatile but centres around hypnotic raw techno with a playful groove, incorporating organic sounds of nature and unexpected rhythmic twists featuring breakbeat techno and trance that bring surprises to her audience.
