Νοσταλγικός, underground καλλιτέχνης r&b
Protean, resolutely vibrant, irremediably anchored in its time and intrinsically nostalgic, Sheylley's music is imbued with influences as rich as diverse. Mixing Pop, Soul and R&B, he describes his music as 80s on steroids and has for leitmotif and ambition to ignore the clichés inexorably associated with black artists. Influenced by the likes of Terence Trent d'Arby, Phil Collins, Toto, Michael Jackson or even Usher, he is in line with those melodists and bears the same insatiable love for harmony and efficiency. Having worked in the shadow of the music industry for more than a decade, he notably contributed to the successes of Dadju on the album Gentleman 2.0 (diamond certified) or even internationally for Karol G. (diamond certified). Filled with catchy riffs and a meticulous songwriting, Sheylley's music draws its inspiration from the different places and countries he’s been living in (Netherlands, United States, Spain) and from his personal experiences. With his first album "Fear of Sensations", Sheylley is undoubtedly in the wake of the great names of contemporary pop.
Sheylley plays a vibrant fusion of R&B, soul, and 1980s-inspired pop influenced by classic melodists like Michael Jackson and Phil Collins.
Sheylley's debut album is titled Fear of Sensations.
