Sky Sky

Sky Sky is a Japanese-American music producer and DJ based in LA. As a UCLA graduate, her passion for Astrophysics and Cosmology serves as a fundamental inspiration behind her sound and is the driving force that led her to begin producing music. A core member of Barong Family with strong support from Yellow Claw, Sky Sky sets herself apart from other producers by writing and performing all of her own vocals. Growing up as an emo/ scene kid, elements of her Rock/ Metal influences are captured through the live guitar recordings she incorporates into her music, fused into heavy Dubstep/ Trap drops that blast listeners through inter-dimensional space. She uses her writing as an emotional outlet, addressing mental health and personal life lessons through rap, screamo, and hyper-pop–inspired verses. As a former performing artist, this pink-haired anime baddie brings an unmatched energy to her live DJ sets with her live vocals and dance performances. By blending genres and intertwining them with Astrophysical lessons, Sky Sky transforms personal emotions, heartbreak, and real-life experiences into a unique sonic universe—pushing the boundaries of electronic music and redefining what it can express.
