Spheyiaa is a Greek singer whose musical journey began in 2010, as a member of the Rosarte Children’s Choir. Over twelve years with the choir, she performed in sold out concerts at venues such as the Megaron (Athens Concert Hall) and the Odeon of Herodes, took part in a special tribute to Mikis Theodorakis children’s collection, and competed in the 2018 World Choir Games in South Africa where the choir won two gold medals. She continued her studies at the Music High School of Pallini, where she received a strong musical education and discovered her passion for the kanun, an instrument that fascinated her with its distinctive sound and depth. After graduating and enrolling at Panteion University, Spheyiaa faced a challenging period marked by a health condition that led to temporary loss of voice. Today, she returns to her art with renewed purpose blending emotion, experience, and authenticity.
Spheyiaa plays Romantso in Athens on Friday 20 November.
