Underground καλλιτέχνης experimental jazz
Stefan Rusconi (pianist / musician / composer) and former member of the jazz/experimental band RUSCONI lives in Berlin with family and friends. After touring globally for many years with RUSCONI, the band disbanded in 2017. Stefan continued composing and collaborating on innovative projects including Until Our Hearts Stop directed by Meg Stuart and Levitation with violinist Tobias Preisig. He has performed at major festivals worldwide and released his first solo piano album SOLACE on October 25, 2024 — a deeply personal work marking his artistic and emotional rebirth. The album processes the tragic death of his friend and collaborator Paul L., an event that left Rusconi shattered and forced him to confront dark memories from his childhood. Over time, music became his path to healing and reconnection. SOLACE is an expression of gratitude to those who helped him through his darkest times, offering a message of hope, resilience, and the courage to face inner demons. In 2025, he released the original soundtrack for the feature film KÖLN 75, further establishing his voice as a composer for emotionally driven and visually compelling stories. Through his music, Rusconi continues to share his journey of healing — encouraging others not to give up.
