A laid-back Polish alt-rock outfit led by Krzysztof "Grabaż" Grabowski and Andrzej "Kozak" Kozakiewicz, Strachy Na Lachy came to be in 2003 in the Northwestern town of Piła. Grabowski and Kozakiewicz, both of whom also play in the popular ska-punk-reggae band Pidżama Porno, put the group together as a vehicle for their more ballad-oriented offerings. The band issued an eponymous debut long-player in 2003, followed by the gold-selling Piła Tango (2005), the platinum-selling Dodekafonia (2010), and !TO! (2012), the latter of which also went gold. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
