The music of the Lucerne based band STRUKTURSTRUKTUR cannot be pinned down to one genre. In their constructed soundscapes, they interweave and collage elements of electronic music, kraut rock, minimal music, wave and post-punk: An experimental weaving of repetitive rhythms and patterns behind which flickering, static structures appear. STRUKTURSTRUKTUR experiments with distorted references and codes to pop culture, creating a negative space of popular music where its influences dissolve and only outlines remain recognizable. The band wants to position itself in this penumbra: Their songs have an implicit effect; they serve as meditative vessels that leave room for introspection. STRUKTURSTRUKTUR - founded in fall 2021 - are Vincent Rigling (git, fx), Leander Schöpfer (bass, fx) and Simon Scherrer (dr, fx).
