Supercontinuum
Underground, ανεβαστικός καλλιτέχνης hi-nrg
Supercontinuum (Thomas Wilk) is a gay techno producer and remixer in Brooklyn, NY, melting mechanized and atmospheric sound design into experimental techno and hardcore. He draws inspiration from dark, queer, and sexual techno of NYC producers, scorched Earth tracks of Dutch hardcore masters, and wildly percussive Japanese producers, such as Indus Bonze. At a time when “business techno” drips poison into all corners of electronic music, Supercontinuum strives to create unique compositions, often stemming from live hardware performances. His tracks “Supercontinent” and “Ruby Laser” have been released by DJ Rebekah on her Elements label, and he creates a monthly 2-hour set called “Supercontinuous Paradise” on Internet Public Radio. He performs live sets with drum machines, self-made modular synth, and Ableton, as well as DJs digital and vinyl. During the day he works as a machine vision engineer. "Hot gay modular synth saved my life, but I don't know how." Music on Bandcamp: supercontinuum.bandcamp.com Merch: https://supercontinuum.bandcamp.com/merch
