Sylvie Vartan is an iconic, award-winning Bulgarian-French pop singer and actress whose signature singles "La Plus Belle Pour Aller Danser," "Si Je Chante," "Zoom Zoom Zoom," and "Irresistiblement" are classics of 20th century European pop. She established herself as a yé-yé idol and transformed herself into a superstar show-woman during the '70s - 80's covering British and American rock hits in French; she developed into a fine interpreter of works by songwriters from Serge Gainsbourg, Pierre Barouh, Charles Aznavour. Commenting on her career in France in 1961, Sylvie Vartan published more than forty studio albums and recorded her successes with titles such as La plus belle pour aller danser, Comme un garçon, La Maritza, 2 min 35 de bonheur, Irrésistiblement et J'ai un problème (in duo with Johnny Hallyday). She also picked up more foreign songs by adapting them into French, such as Le locomotion, I'm watching, Dansons, Si je chante, Bye bye Leroy Brown, Qu'est-ce qui fait pleurer les blondes ?, Petit rainbow, Nicolas, ou encore L'amour c'est comme une cigarette. After the triumph of the three dates in November 2024 at the Dome of Paris, Queen Sylvie added three dates at the end of January 2025 at the Palais des Congrès. The future is unwritten and life full of surprises : Sylvie Vartan is a fairytale that will live on. At the beginning of 2025 she was awarded an Honorary Victoire during the 'Victoires de la Musique' ceremony.
