Taftir

Emerging from the high desert of a small, remote town, Taftir is an instrumental project shaped by isolation and a fascination with the bizarre. Rooted in psychedelic rock but drawing from Middle Eastern traditions, instrumental soul, and groove-led analogue music, it captures a band forming in real time, guided less by intention than by environment and shared instinct. "Od Layla Ba Ayara" , their debut release on Batov Records is a four-track EP forged through place, spontaneity and the dynamics of a small, isolated community. The band’s multi-layered sound is born from a constant dialogue between the traditional and the experimental.
