Tamika Lawrence

Tamika Lawrence is a Grammy-winning singer, writer, and producer, highly distinguished in the New York entertainment industry for her soaring, soul-piercing vocals and her droll comedic and dramatic performance style. Tamika first appeared in the New York revival of Rent and has since starred in 13 Broadway and Off-Broadway musical productions, and has also collaborated with artists such as Black Thought of The Roots, Q-Tip, Benjamin Casey, and Idina Menzel. She has been nominated for four Grammy Awards and has won two for her work on the Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman soundtracks. Her albums UGLY (2017) and Two Faced (2020) were independently released to critical acclaim.
