All whilst utilising the refined production, direction, and signature saxophone of Nathan Haines. Featuring a timeless spoken-word from the legendary Marlena Shaw (RNZ 2006) alongside key writing and feature collaborations with Arjuna Oakes, Sam Allen, Ben Stewart, Joe Kaptein, and Rudi Creswick on bass. The record anchors its vibrant, collaborative chemistry with Taylor’s intrinsic sense of understated direction. Ultimately, The Dream Dancer is a smooth, honest look at creative growth from an artist simply focused on the craft.
