Teddy Grossman’s path to music reads like myth. After spending well over a decade as a traveling salesman intent on avoiding the financial misfires of generations prior, a rare encounter with the reclusive Bill Withers provided Grossman the final push he needed to move to California, leave the corporate world behind and record his debut album SOON COME. A sold out album release show in LA would quickly follow, leading to tour dates opening for Mavis Staples, Van Morrison, and The War and Treaty all in the same year. As the dust began to settle Grossman quietly got to work, acclimating to a new reality, and crafting the songs that would become his sophomore full-length album, HALCYON.
