Tharaphita

The pagan black metal force Tharaphita was born in March of 1995 in Estonia, founded by ANK, who had been playing in underground metal bands since 1991. The goal of the members was to play music closest to their heart, combining black and other styles of metal with elements from pagan folk music and to do it in a straightforward and original manner. With a distinct sound and by staying true to their concept over the decades, the band has risen to legendary status in the Estonian metal scene and abroad.
