THE CALM GREY - IN BETWEEN SADNESS A year filled with grief, pain, and sudden personal losses. It's no wonder, then, that this theme runs like a thread through the songs on the album "In Between Sadness," from the title and cover art to the lyrics. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, THE CALM GREY deliver a driving, even raw sound that still manages to maintain a certain lightness. Their first single, "Leaving The Flat," released in January, was a huge success, promptly reaching #1 on the German Alternative Charts. THE CALM GREY are Rio Black (Vocals & Lyrics) and Mirco Rappsilber (Instruments & Songwriting) Recorded between May and September 2025 in Bielefeld and Essen. All Songs mixed, produced and mastered by Per-Anders Kurenbach between November 2025 and February 2026 at House Of Wax Studio, Bochum.
