The Fictionals

From the humid swamps of Southwest FL, twin brothers Cameron and Liam Wright met songwriter Jesús Menacho in 2015 through a modest Craigslist ad. They connected over a shared love of late 70’s CBGB’s punk music and the garage revival acts of the early 2000’s and quickly formed their own group. One college band and a few relocations later, the trio settled into a sound featuring angular, crunchy guitar tones paired with urgent but thoughtful melodies that would carry them all the way to the streets of Brooklyn. Once immersed in the place of generation-shaping music, they would go on to release 7 singles and counting in a post-Covid era NYC.
