The Real People are a pioneering Liverpool indie rock band formed in the late 1980s by brothers Tony and Chris Griffiths. Hailed as early architects of the Britpop movement, they earned a legendary status within the Merseyside scene and famously helped mentor Oasis in their formative years. Known for muscular melodies and sharp guitar-driven anthems like Window Pane and Feel the Pain, the band remains a defining staple of UK independent music history.
