The Robots Are Coming (TRAC) is an electronic duo from Tilburg, the Netherlands, crafting a blend of cinematic atmosphere and club-driven energy. Their sound—rooted in raw basslines, glitchy textures, and propulsive rhythms—moves between electronic music and film, where tension, narrative and physical impact Inspired by artists such as Daft Punk, Justice, Underworld and Hans Zimmer, TRAC bridges dancefloor functionality with cinematic storytelling. Their work draws from ’80s and ’90s production techniques, combining vintage synthesizers, drum machines and guitars with a modern, self-contained approach. Every aspect—music, visuals and concept—is developed independently, resulting in a cohesive artistic identity. Their debut album 2095 introduces a dystopian future where humanity has been overtaken by its own creations. Fragments of memory, emotion and machine logic collide, forming a world where authenticity fades and nostalgia becomes resistance. Each track acts as part of a larger imagined reality. Since its release, the title track was awarded 3voor12/Tilburg Song of the Year. Performing without laptops, TRAC translates their work into a physical experience using hardware synthesizers, drum machines, guitar and vocals. A custom light show synchronized with the music turns each performance into a cohesive audiovisual experience.
