Theo Naishtat

Theo Naishtat is a jazz guitarist from Buenos Aires, Argentina (11 March 2000). Graduated with a Jazz Bachelor at the Conservatory of Buenos Aires, he is now based in Europe, being part of the prestigious European Jazz Master programme of the Conservatories of Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Trondheim. With three albums as a leader, "Refugio" (2021) , "Afinidades" (2023), "Oblivion" (2024) and several recordings as a sideman, Theo Naishtat has been a very active member of the Argentine jazz scene, before moving to Europe, performing regularly in the jazz clubs of Buenos Aires. He has been artist-in-residence of the jazz concert series at the Contemporary Art Museum of Buenos Aires "MACBA Jazz" from 2021-2022. He moved to Europe in 2023 and since he has toured in many countries as leader or sideman. His music combines elements of the sounds of Argentina with his influences of the modern jazz scene. Since 2024 he is now based in Paris. His most recent album "Oblivion", recorded at Conservatorium van Amsterdam, has been performed in different jazz clubs and festivals in Argentina, France, The Netherlands, Germany, and Norway.
