THROES is a crushing Boise, Idaho, based band formed in 2014. Drawing on sludge, metallic hardcore, and doom-steeped aggression, THROES has carved out a reputation for relentless heaviness and visceral live performances. Their upcoming record, The Colorless Light of Emptiness (Out October 16th on Church Road Records), finds the band further exploring themes of loss, grief, self-hatred, corruption, climate collapse, and human fragility. Balancing focused, raw composition with moments of crushing sonic weight. The new material continues their tradition of confronting bleak emotional landscapes through dissonant punishing sonic intensity.
