Tondrae Kemp is a Baton Rouge-born singer, songwriter, and performer whose music blends neo-soul, jazz, R&B, and sharp lyrical storytelling into a sound that is both timeless and deeply personal. Inspired by legends like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Donny Hathaway, Tondrae transforms everyday moments, love, struggle, and social reflection into emotionally resonant songs that connect across cultures and generations. After building a reputation in New Orleans’ live music scene and performing at Essence Festival and Jazz Fest, Tondrae went on to share stages with icons including Terence Blanchard, Allen Toussaint, Charlie Hunter, Ivan Neville, and Leo Nocentelli. His acclaimed releases include Still Searching, Sun Money, and Romancing The Dome. His latest project, Bless Your Heart Vols. 1–3, begins with the lush, jazz-infused single “Skydive” featuring Nicholas Payton. Beyond performing, Tondrae is also a respected music executive, GRAMMY-winning artist manager, and currently Associate Director of Concerts & Touring at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
