TYSON. Pisces. London. TYSON works in an alternative world with an RnB lens. 2026 finds TYSON working on her debut album and releasing 2 new singles; collaborations written in LA with Nosaj Thing and long time friend and artistic partner Coby Sey. Also expanding her curatorial and DJ practice, TYSON will be curating a stage alongside friend and collaborator Yazmin Lacey for The Music is Black Festival’s Power and Respect programme,. TYSON’s music showcases her love of collaboration, most recently with babyfather on ‘ICL’, alongside Sam Akpro for the soulful ‘Wayside’, with Leon Vynehall on the beautiful track ‘Scab’ and Miso Extra on ‘Candy Crushin’ This follows her track ‘Water’ with Yazmin Lacey, exploring friendship between women and motherhood. Earlier cuts include the Sunsetters/Daybreakers mixtape, the Pisces Problems EP (featuring lovestruck single ‘Tuesday’) and 2020’s Moonlight Mixtape – as well as collaborations with underground royalty like Dean Blunt, Coby Sey and rRoxymore. Her label and industry organisation Ladies Music Pub, has been connecting women, non-binary and trans people in music since 2015, continues to bring people together through monthly meetings, curation and live programming. ‘If you create a playlist featuring ‘Promises’ by TYSON, and ‘Promises’ by Tirzah and loop it, you can actually transcend this earthly existence and catch a true glimpse of nirvana as long as your airpods have battery’ (the words of James Massiah)
