Στιλάτο, underground σχήμα celtic
Uttern is a unique presence in the Italian and European scene - an all-female band using music to reconnect with the millennia-old spirituality of Europe's ancient roots. They blend solemnity and celebration into a powerful pagan-shamanic sound, earning the attention and affection of thousands of fans across Italy's biggest Celtic music festivals. Their connection to the sacred feminine, the Divine Mother and Europe's ancient soul is what audiences carry with them after every show. "Uttern" means "otter," an animal that in many ancient cultures embodied celebratory divine feminine energy - flowing with both delicacy and strength, just like the band's spirit. Their live show is a musical ritual where the elements of water, fire, earth and air join the fifth: Spirit. Music, sacredness and dance become one, celebrating life in its fullness. After their debut EP Gudinna (2018), they released their second album, Mediterra, in 2023. On August 1, 2026, they release "Rasna," a single sung entirely in the Etruscan language that celebrates the ancient ritual of food and sharing - a festive, sacred act of community. Its release, alongside the band's debut at Castlefest in the Netherlands, marks the beginning of a new, international chapter for Uttern.
