Verkauf Musique

The band Verkauf Musique, playing in the ostpunk style inspired by the Eastern European punk scene, was founded in 2001 as an audiovisual project by Jan Ondřej and Jiří Šimeček. After 2009, it transformed into a purely musical band, undergoing several lineup changes and releasing multiple albums, including live recordings. A significant milestone came in 2022, when the band celebrated 20 years of existence with a concert aboard the ship Kamina and began working on a new album. This album, Die Speisekarte, was released at the beginning of 2023 as an LP and a digital Verkauf Box. At the end of 2024, the band released a new EP titled Trabi Katastrophe, further developing their unique style and energy.
