Viivika

Viivika (Viivika Reintam) is an Estonian singer-songwriter from the island of Hiiumaa, whose music blends indie pop, soul, and gospel-inspired influences. Her sound is intimate and organic, shaped by introspective lyrics, warm vocals, and a deep sense of faith. She first stepped into the spotlight in 2013, teaming up with Risto Iljas to form the band Nivoo. Together, they released a six-track EP in 2015, followed by the single “Kulgen”, which brought her songwriting to a wider audience. She made her solo debut in 2017 and released her self-titled debut album, Viivika, in 2020. Her music is shaped by her Hiiumaa roots, soulful sounds, and faith. She explores the human experience through stories in which faith is naturally woven into the narrative. Viivika’s strength lies not in having the biggest voice or the most cutting-edge production, but in something deeper: emotional honesty, vulnerability, and meaning.
